The Friends of Algonquin Park invites you to two special exhibits on display at the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre from 9:00am to 5:00pm, daily, until September 27, 2026. Entry is free with a valid Park permit.

Not a Job but a Calling: Rangers, Game Wardens and the Ontario Forest Ranger School

A travelling exhibition produced by the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre explores what it takes to work in natural resources management and the fascinating history behind the careers. Exhibit produced by the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre in partnership with the Ontario Conservation Officers Association, the Ontario Ranger School Alumni Association, and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Enforcement Branch.

Efficient Guardians: The Rangers of Algonquin Park

Featuring artifacts, photographs, and records from the Algonquin Provincial Park Archives & Collections, this temporary exhibition explores the lives and duties of the Rangers who have cared for Algonquin Park for over 130 years.
