The Government of Ontario has ordered all non-essential businesses to close from December 26, 2020 to at least February 11, 2021 to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a result, The Friends of Algonquin Park will be closing our Bookstore and Nature Shop at the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre.

The Friends of Algonquin Park Bookstore and Nature Shop is scheduled to be open tomorrow (December 23, 2020) from 9:00am to 4:00pm for in-person shopping with capacity limits. The Bookstore and Nature Shop is normally closed just three days of the year, December 24-26, but will now remain closed to at least February 11, 2021. Online orders via http://store.algonquinpark.on.ca will continue to be filled and shipped.

We thank you for your support during this provincewide shutdown while we protect our staff, families, volunteers, and Park visitors. Their health is of the utmost importance. We continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation and will keep you updated at www.algonquinpark.on.ca
