The Science Behind Algonquin's Animals
Have you ever wondered how many Moose there are in Algonquin Park? Where the wolves are? or Where Wood Turtles spend the winter? These are just some of the questions that researchers in Algonquin Park have wondered themselves.
As part of the Group Education Program offered through The Friends of Algonquin Park, in cooperation with Ontario Parks and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, a program has been developed that explores the role of science and technology in Algonquin Parks current and historic wildlife research.
Algonquin Park has a long and rewarding history of wildlife research. Now you can experience these research projects through an interactive presentation that supplements Ontarios science curriculum.
