Achray's Interpretive Program

Located on the shores of beautiful Grand Lake, the Achray Campground is famous for its pine forests, sand beaches, and outstanding scenery.

Tom Thomson, one of Canada's most famous landscape artists, worked here in 1916, and a short walk south of the campground on the Jack Pine Trail (1.6 kilometres round trip) takes you to the scene that inspired the famous canvas, The Jack Pine.
