Special Art Exhibit: Birds of the North, Inspiration, and Seasons of Change

View the Algonquin Park related works of Barry Peyton, Jim Bartlett, and Robert Doherty in the Algonquin Room at the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre until April 29, 2020. Over the course of a given year, the Visitor Centre’s Algonquin Room presents different exhibitions of Algonquin Park themed art by area artists. The art is available for sale and a portion of each sale is dedicated to The Friends of Algonquin Park who, in turn, use these monies to enhance the educational and interpretive programs in Algonquin. Stop by to view some exciting work, and maybe meet the artist, too!

This special exhibit is open the same operating dates and hours as the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre. Check the Events Calendar for specific dates and times.

Birds of the North - A display of both watercolour and acrylic original paintings in various habitats in and around Algonquin Park. Using realism techniques Barry Peyton brings birds to the forefront showing off their brilliance and natural beauty in stunning detail.

Inspiration - Algonquin Park inspires, relaxes and encourages photographer, Jim Bartlett to create. Join him on his photographic journey.

Seasons of Change - Robert Doherty uses oil paint on canvas to bring to light the scenery and wildlife that surrounds us daily in our parks and throughout the Province.
