Beaver Pond Trail Reopens

Beaver Pond Trail in Algonquin Park reopened on August 1, 2016 after emergency bridge repairs.


Beaver Pond Trail Closed Until Further Notice For Emergency Bridge Repairs

Beaver Pond Trail Bridge

Ontario Parks has closed Algonquin Park's Beaver Pond Trail until further notice as the result of emergency bridge repairs. A 13 metre long bridge near the entrance of the trail is expected be repaired in the next several weeks. Upon completion of the work the trail will reopen to Algonquin Park visitors.

Beaver Pond Trail is a 2.0 kilometre interpretive walking trail located at km 45.2 of Highway 60. The trail highlights beaver ecology in Algonquin Park and offers views of beaver lodges and dams, plus the occasional observation of American Beavers.
