Special Art Exhibit in Algonquin Park: Essence of Algonquin & Visisons to Images

View the Algonquin Park related works of Wayne Stanley and Tom Agha in the Algonquin Room at the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre until September 23, 2015. Over the course of a given year, the Visitor Centre’s Algonquin Room presents different exhibitions of Algonquin Park themed art by area artists. The art is available for sale and a portion of each sale is dedicated to The Friends of Algonquin Park who, in turn, use these monies to enhance the educational and interpretive programs in Algonquin. Stop by to view some exciting work, and maybe meet the artist, too!

This special exhibit is open the same operating dates and hours as the Algonquin Park Visitor Centre. Check the Events Calendar for specific dates and times.

Essence of Algonquin by Wayne Stanley

The landscapes I paint are a reflection of Algonquin’s vast amounts of lakes, inlets, trees, rocks, colors and the mood of the land. The paintings in this art exhibit is my view of the parks campfires, lakes, trees, shorelines and the abundant of wildlife. I have painted in different mediums over the years like pencil, watercolors, oils and acrylics. My choice of mediums is oils and acrylics allow me to achieve the freedom of expression. I'm hoping that the viewers of my work are captivated by the moods and scenery of Algonquin Park.
