Wildlife Research Weekend 2011
Twelve Algonquin Park visitors participated in Wildlife Research Weekend 2011, an exciting learning vacation that accompanies wildlife researchers into the field as they attempt to unravel the mysteries of the plants and animals of Algonquin Park. Participants experienced first-hand the purpose, techniques used in both field and remote laboratory settings, and the importance of Algonquin Park as a research laboratory. An outstanding time was had by all who participated.

Meet the Researcher Day - July 28, 2011
Algonquin's Wildlife Research Station and The Friends of Algonquin Park invite you to spend time with researchers who use Algonquin Park as their laboratory at Meet the Researcher Day 2011. Learn from those who study reptiles and amphibians, birds, small mammals, fish, wolves, and even humans (through archaeology). A free event for visitors of all ages. Learn more >
