Reservations

Algonquin Park is a popular camping destination.

Our campsites, yurts, and historic ranger cabins are often booked early in the year (especially for Holiday weekends and those weekends during July and August). As well, several popular backcountry/Interior access points (Canoe Lake, Smoke Lake, Rock Lake, and Lake Opeongo) tend to be booked early in the season .

To remove uncertainty about being able to camp where and when you want, we recommend you make a reservation.

NOTE: Your written reservation confirmation is NOT your permit – you must pick up your camping permit at the Park Office identified in your confirmation letter.

Reservation service fees, policies, and guidelines are found at www.OntarioParks.com

Payment may be made using VISA, MasterCard, American Express, cheque or money order (cheques and money orders must be received within 14 days of making your reservation for confirmation to occur)

NOTE: The information required to book a campsite in a car campground and to book a campsite in the backcountry/Interior differs slightly. Review the information carefully BEFORE making a reservation.
